Who is the Most Powerful?

Mum : Who do you think is the most powerful in the universe?

Abdullah : Hmmmm... Dinosaur!

Mum : (Surprised by the answer...)No... Who do you think is more powerful than the dinosaur?

Abdullah : Hmmmm... Ummi!

Mum : (Laughing discreetly) No....darling...It's Allah.

I was just thinking of the thought processes of a 3-yr-old. It's interesting how their paradigm is limited by, of course, what we have exposed them to and what we have been instilling in them. (I really have lots and lots to do).But the funnier part was ME having more power than the dinosaur!!! Hah hah hah But maybe there's a deeper meaning to that? Maybe a child at that age thinks that his mum is the superwoman who is THE ultimate in everything...I'm really wondering. Maybe.

Conversation 2

Mum : Where is Allah? Do you think He is under the bed?

Abdullah : No.

Mum : Do you think he is on the clouds?

Abdullah : No

Mum : Then, where is He?

Abdullah : He's at the mosque.

Mum : (Surprised by the answer...) He's not just at the mosque. He is everywhere...

Again, I'm thinking what made him say `mosque' instead of the house, the park, the playground or anywhere else. Interesting to think about the concepts that the child has when he thinks of something.
