Sick days.
Been nursing a terrible cough, running nose and headache lately. And I am not the only one. Everybody else in the family has been very sick, especially my girl, who is taking a longer time to recover because she just won't take her medicine regularly. Her brother is okay when taking medicine. He will even want to take second helping! Aiyoh! But the girl will just run away at the sight of the medicine. Imagine I had to pin her down (like martial arts..) and tried different positions so that she won't purposely drool out the medicine.
And even though I was rather sick, I guess, I still had to be there for the Prize Presentation / Closing Ceremony of the Bulan Bahasa 2006. I got a shock when, even after the MC announced about 6 names or so, she finally called my name as the third prize winner of the Blogging Competition. We were just told that we were one of the Top 10 winners in the beginning.
Initially, I figured I probably got 5th - one of the consolation prize winners because there were about 10 of us out of the 63 who took part, who were good. Alhamdulillah anyway. But really, there were some of the consolation prize winners who were just as good like Melayudilondon and Insanadia.
I want to get some rest.

i was wondering if something was wrong with you cos i wasn't getting any response to my sms-es. :)
i am quite in bad shape myself. v bad throat which looks set to stay for a few more days. i've got the runny nose too.
poor us! take care of yourself.
sounds just like zid & hani. zid don't mind taking meds. hani will take it in and then spill out seconds after meds get in mouth. no need for a wrestle though. :p
Alah sayang! you sakit? nasib baik menang 3rd prize. hehehe. pasal ubat tu, you pernah pakai syringe tak? alia suka benar pakai syringe for ubat (different kan..) also it gets to the back of the throat so tak leh muntah. ade je trick aku
I pakai syringelah tu.. Nanti si girl sembur-sembur & buih-buih kan kat mulut pasal dia tak nak telan.. hai...mungkin kalau dia dah besar sikit macam abang dia, harap2 oklah. Dulu abang dia pun tak nak makan ubat. Dah besar ni baru dia ok sikit.
Oh yes..menang 3rd terubat sikit kepalaku yang sakit...heh heh..
shiks, it doesn't work with our kids lah. diorang pandai block their throats with their tongue.
cam mana nak explain eh? basically, they'll know how to cheat lah! hahahah
v geram you know. everytime see the med come back out! i told hani if she does it again, i will give her the same dosage again each time until she stops cheating. dictatorship rules! it's great being a mom. heheh
