PTC 2007 at MKS Pre-school

It's been a while since I last blogged as I have been intrigued by a new playground -Facebook. I'm there almost a few times a day. I'm not sure if the vigour will last -maybe it will not afterall - 'tis a transient activity - what's not?

What I actually want to blog about is my meeting with my son's Nursery teachers. I'm just so pleased with his development. Alhamdulillah. According to his teacher, there is only one student out of all the 3 Nursery classes who could read K2 level books. Just one student. And that student is my son. All praises be to Allah.

All I can say is that my decision to resign more than 3 years ago is not futile. What's the best gift a mother can give to a child? I think there are many but definitely one of the most important ones is Literacy. And I think I have done my part, and I shall continue doing my part, Insya Allah, though I know there is still a long way to go to maintain the reading culture in my children. The journey is long. This is only the start and I still have Amalia Khadijah's development to look into. Help me, Allah. Amin.
