Attended a kid's Birthday Gathering

Met a fellow stay-home-mum at my husband's cousin's daughter's birthday gathering. After talking to her a fair bit, she said that I may get bored after some time just like her now that her daughter is already three. She resigned when she was pregnant with her.

All I know is that at this time, I have a few things in mind to do with my children - especially to expose them to many experiences to help them maximise learning. In fact, I think I will still have some things to do with them at different stages of their lives. Perhaps, when there is lesser things to do and when the children are more independent to search for knowlwdge on their own, I will probably join the workforce again. But most likely on flexihours.

At this point I am enjoying every single bit of my time with my children though at times of course I have headaches when both cry for attention at the same time. Otherwise it is such a joy to see and interact with them. It is such a miracle to see them exist out of nothing initially and now growing into such loveable children.

Hi Linda,
Really glad that you commented on my blog. This is the beauty of internet - we get connected fast even though we are so far apart.

You've been a stay home mum for 10 years? Wow! I really admire you for the decision you have made and for what you have done for yr children. Very few women will do what you have done. With the money issue especially.. many wld go back to work.

I suppose you do work part-time? Well, I think I better read the rest of yr blogs bcoz I just managed to glance through. Yr website title looks interesting. Take care.
